Why Give?

A Forerunner of Giving

Abraham Gave

The Testimony of Giving is reproducible in our lives. Abraham met King Priest Melchizedek. He blessed Abraham by telling him how God had given him his enemies. Abraham had captured all the people these Kings and their armies had stolen, and all the booty from the war. God met Abraham in the form and person of a King/Priest who did not need anything but Like Our Father gave what he considered a proper gift to this man who was strangely familiar, a voice he had heard on his journey to a new land.
When you ask for a word from the Father, do you come to Him the King of All Kings empty handed? Or are you like King David who said “But King David replied to Araunah, “No, I insist on buying it for the full price. I will not take what is yours and give it to the LORD. I will not present burnt offerings that have cost me nothing!” I Chronicles 21:24.
I have heard a Word from the Father considering this who said,” Tim it will not be by your hand that this ministry will be supplied. I will bless others to give and support your ministry.” Also The Father has said “”Even so has the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.” I Corinthians 9:14.
So align your needs with the Word of God.
Do you need a fresh Word from the Father today? Expect Him to speak words that encourage, edify and exhort you to a greater life. A life found in Him, from the Living Voice that still speaks today.
