The Father did not turn His Back on His Only Son…

Double Down on The Word.

Double Down on The Word.

Our Lord Jesus while on the Cross quoted Psa 22: as a man speaking to His God, His Father. He was in unbearable pain of physical, spiritual and mental anguish of his total being. Even while it was dark from the “From noon until three in the afternoon darkness came over all the land.” Matt 27:45 NIV Jesus was never, ever abandoned by the Father. In further reading of Psa 22:24, “For He has not despised or abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither has He hidden His face from him, but when he cried to Him, He heard.” Amplified Bible. So Jesus Christ was never abandoned on the cross ( Gods’ back turned from His Own Son) and have His Own Word in Psalms 22 violated. His Word is forever, it will always be, it will always stand as the overarching truth of eternity. For those who feel abandoned, alone, frustrated and worn out, Jesus Christ says “Come unto me, all you who are weary and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.” Matt 11:28 KJV.
I am confident the Jesus Christ did not say this and later change His mind on the cross when He quotes Psa 22. All those who put their trust, hope and eternal lives in the care of Jesus will not be abandoned as well. For those feel this way receive this word, He who created the world, the heavens and all that exists ” He is before all things, and by Him all things hold together.” Colossians 1:17 Is the same God who said “… And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matt 28:20 ESV.
Jesus always said what He heard His Father say… Amen. YOU ARE NEVER ALONE.
