” God said, “I command light to shine!” And light started shining.” Genesis 1:3 CEV”
” There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. 3 So Moses thought, “I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up.”4 When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!” And Moses said, “Here I am.” 5 “Do not come any closer,” God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.” 6 Then he said, “I am the God of your father,[a] the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.” At this, Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God.” Exodus 3:2-5 God used flame (light) to capture Moses attention.
Matthew 17:2 The Passion Translation (TPT)
2 Then Jesus’ appearance was dramatically altered. A radiant light as bright as the sun poured from his face. And his clothing became luminescent—dazzling like lightning.[a] He was trans-figured[b] before their very eyes. Footnotes: Matthew 17:2 Or “white as light.”
Matthew 17:2 Moses also went up to Sinai’s mountain and received an impartation of glory. His face shone and had to be veiled. The transfiguration of Jesus is also part of our destiny, for the same Greek word is used twice for believers being transfigured by the renewing of our minds and by the glory of Christ within us that will complete our transformation into Christ’s image. See Rom. 12:2; 2 Cor. 3:18.
God’s Story in the Skies
1 God’s splendor is a tale that is told; his testament is written in the stars.[a] Space itself speaks his story every day through the marvels of the heavens.
His truth is on tour in the starry vault of the sky, showing his skill in creation’s craftsmanship.
2 Each day gushes out its message[b] to the next, night with night whispering its knowledge to all.
3 Without a sound, without a word, without a voice being heard,
4 Yet all the world can see its story. Everywhere its gospel[c] is clearly read so all may know.
5 What a heavenly home God has set for the sun, shining in the superdome of the sky! Psa 1:1-5 TPT.
The Earth is encapsulated in a stream of light as a picture from Voyager 1. We have the blessings of intelligence given to us to send a spacecraft, to the outer rim of our galaxy. As I contemplate Our Gods grace to help us see planets barely seen by our instruments on Earth. We know where we come from, Our Creator’s heart that question is settled for me. Jesus Christ lives today working within hearts to correct evils hellish destruction of our bodies, soul, and spirit. Look at the last picture Voyager sent to us, we live in the light of the sun and by The Son. Ask Father God to permeate you with His Light as He makes sure our planet lives in His Total illumination of Light.
